LOOK.... Wendy Greuel Los Angeles Council Woman uses 5 Million dollars of city tax payers money to trick the public into paying a new 9 percent tax on phones, internet, etc. They wrote it to appear to be a tax reduction when in FACT "the previous 10% tax was thrown out by the courts". The only way for city council (Wendy Greuel) to get this tax was to mislead the public, put it in a special election last minute so no one can object to it and then take 5 million plus of the tax payers money to blast advertisement on television, using phone war dialers with pre recorded messages and FLOOD the city with officials all stating how they need the money so Vote YES. What a scam.
City council knew the tax was going to be thrown out for over 2 years. They kept it quiet and waited for the right minute to show it up you "S". And it worked.
My reports says 36 percentage of the public voted "NO", the others, well they did not research the descriptions of the measures, they went by the ballet form which made it seem like they were voting for a tax reduction.
Someone somewhere in the government should investigate this and appeal this measure because of the deceptive fashion of which it was thrown on us. What's really scary is Wendy greuel is running un opposed for the city controller position. That means she can over see all of the cities money and the usage of it.
LOOK WHAT SHE DID WITH 5 MILLION, it did not go to the schools or the kids, it went to deceive you the voting public so they can scam 9% of the revenue generated from phone usage, internet, etc. suddenly our free internet is not so free.
We have to watch these scamsters and expose them for their crooked actions. If nothing else, at least you know the sneaky tricky things that Wendy Greuel wanted to happen. The things that cost you,
See below, look who voted to get this sneaky trick accomplished and then think, all of city council went along with it.
Remember the planning fix in story I have on the site? Then there is the old way of pay to play for the businesses who wanted city contracts. Then there is the Wendy Greuel turning on Home Depot, the clearance that was granted Home depot was suddenly over ruled and they were not allowed to build the building, their previous permission pulled. We see this is clearly a conflict of interest with Wendy Greuel owning Frontier Building Supply in North Hollywood. Home Depot would be a direct competitor so she misuses her city council position again and makes things happen. Then there was the fix is in with Planning where they had accidentally had planning dept of Los Angeles call to tell the builder Schaffel he "WAS" going to have the city approval to build, don't worry about it, the FIX was in. They really screwed up on this one though, they left the message on the recording machine of one of the people who was appealing being thrown out into the street from their previous rent control protected apartments.
Here Look who wanted to steal from you, deceive you and use the tax money that could have went to our children, to fool you into thinking you were getting a tax reduction instead of what it really was, a new 9% tax on phone "Measure S".

And last but not least, PLEASE REMEMBER. Wendy Greuel and the Los Angeles city council granted Paul Kulak (Kulaks Woodshed) a variance while he was serving 12 months probation and was under court order not to operate.
The Variance stated Kulak wasn't supposed to operate, building and Safety ordered the building not to be occupied since 2004.
Wendy Doesn't give a crap, she stands before the public and city council and stated how much of a wonderful place it is and how they should be allowed to operate. She still openly supports the criminal operation as it breaks the law nightly in it's operation and even in occupying the building. What a crook, she violated the laws and aided a criminal organization in being allowed dot operate while court ordered not to and building and safety ordered not to even be in the building.
Now the city is somehow exempt from suit for not making sure their laws were enforced but I am not giving up there. Discrimination was my claim to begin with. I am looking for a good attorney to handle the new case against the city now.
Stop these monsters, we had 36% of the votes go against the crooked measure S and that was becaue people looked into the measure, if the rest would have known the text on the ballet was deceptive and the ads on television were deceptive, they would have voted "NO" too.
Next time we will win when the city council members (wendy greuel in particular) try some shady crap. And please remember this when you see these people going for other positions in office. we have to stop them and never let them forget the corruption they committed. They can't hide these skeletons.
Most importantly realize wendy greuel has a long long of questionable dealings, fooling the public and using your money to do it (on Measure S) and vote for anyone else who may run for the city controllers position. How can we let someone handle the cities money when they themselves were caught pulling shady "S" hit.
